In light of the mayhem that is going on in Gaza, namely the intensification of barbarity over there, it is fitting to listen to Burning Conscience once again to remind us that what is happening is very much related to events in the U.S.
And right now, ”Big Brother” is otherwise engaged.
First, I’ll give you quote … my ministry of foreign affairs of Israel that said that the public opinion in the US is the most powerful weapon that the IDF has, or that Israel has. And I think in this case, he is right. I think that the public opinion here and society here [in the US] immune us and enable us to do many things that in my opinion are bringing to our social destruction.
And I can give you another extreme example [from] a soldier [that] one of us interviewed. He is in a unit, an engineer unit, that actually what they are doing is blow up things: bridges, houses. And the IDF didn’t do them at the beginning of that [?]. First time that they used them was 9/11. Ten minutes after the airplane hit the tower, the first airplane hit the tower, they were on their way to Jenin to blow up houses. Why that? I can tell you what he says, the soldier that was interviewed, that Big Brother wasn’t looking, wasn’t watching.
So that’s how much things are connected.
